The economy of Penajam Paser Utara in 2021

·         The economy of Penajam Paser Utara in 2021 as measured by Gross Regional Domestic Product (GDRP) according to industry at current process reached Rp 10,09 trillion and at constant prices reached Rp 6,49 trillion.

 

·         The economy of Penajam Paser Utara in 2020 has decreased by minus 1,69 percent from 2020.

 

·         Based on production side, the economic downturn is caused by contraction in the main industry which is Mining and Quarrying. The industry that has experienced the highest growth is Construction. Meanwhile, based on expenditure side, the economic downturn is caused by contraction of inventory change and net export. The component that has experienced the highest growth is Gross Fixed Capital Formation.

 

·         The economic structure of Penajam Paser Utara based on production side in 2021 is still dominated by Mining and Quarrying; Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries; and Manufacturing. Meanwhile, the economic structure based on expenditure side is dominated by Gross Fixed Capital Formation and Household Consumption.
