Abstract

The year-on-yead (y-o-y) inflation rate of Penajam Paser Utara Regency was 3.18 percent on March 2024

In March 2024, year-on-year (y-on-y) inflation in Penajam Paser Utara Regency was 3.18 percent with a Consumer Price Index (CPI) of 106.76.

Y-on-y inflation occurred due to an increase in prices as indicated by an increase in expenditure group indices, namely: the food, beverage and tobacco group by 5.98 percent; clothing and footwear group by 0.47 percent; housing, water, electricity and household fuel group at 2.00 percent; equipment, tools and routine household maintenance group at 0.01 percent; transportation group at 0.72 percent; recreation, sports and culture group at 9.19 percent; food and beverage/restaurant provision group at 2.39 percent; and the personal care and other services group at 3.22 percent. Meanwhile, the expenditure groups that experienced a decline in the index were: the health group by 2.33 percent and the information, communication and financial services group by 0.45 percent. The month to month (m-to-m) inflation rate and year to date (y-to-d) inflation rate for North Penajam Paser Regency in March 2024 are 0.24 percent and 1.17 percent respectively.
