Abstract

• Nominal wages for workers / workers are the average daily wages received as remuneration for work that has been done.
• Labor / worker real wages represent the purchasing power of the income / wages the worker / worker receives.
• The real wage for agricultural labor is the ratio between the nominal wage of agricultural laborers and the index for rural household consumption, while the real wage for construction workers is the ratio of the nominal wage for construction workers.
• The nominal daily wage for national agricultural laborers in February 2021 increased by 0.35 percent compared to the wages for agricultural workers in January 2021, from IDR 56,176.00 to IDR 56,373.00 per day. Meanwhile, the real wage for agricultural laborers has increased by 0.18 percent.
• The nominal daily wage of construction workers (non-foreman) in February 2021 increased 0.05 percent compared to January 2021, from IDR 90,907.00 to IDR 90,953.00 per day. Meanwhile, real wages decreased by 0.05 percent.
