Abstract

  • The export value of Kalimantan Timur Province in May 2020 reached US $ 0.95 billion or decreased by 15.44 percent compared with exports in April 2020. Meanwhile, when compared to May 2019 it experienced a decrease of 32.33 percent.
  • The value of oil and gas exports in May 2020 reached US $ 103.73 million, down 23.41 percent compared to April 2020. While the export of non-oil goods in May 2020 reached US $ 848.58 million, down 14.35 percent compared to April 2020.
  • Cumulatively, the export value of Kalimantan Timur Province in the period January - May 2020 reached US $ 5.88 billion, down 14.55 percent compared to the same period in 2019.
  • Of all exports from January to May 2020, the role of oil and gas goods exports reached 11.75 percent while the role of non-oil goods exports reached 88.25 percent.
  • The import value of Kalimantan Timur Province in May 2020 reached US $ 65.84 million or decreased by 35.36 percent compared to imports in April 2020. Meanwhile, when compared to May 2019 it decreased by 60.22 percent.
  • May 2020 imports of oil and gas goods reached US $ 14.80 million, down 63.88 percent compared to April 2020. While imports of non-oil goods in May 2020 reached US $ 51.04 million, down by 16.17 percent compared to April 2020.
  • Cumulatively, the import value of Kalimantan Timur Province in the period January - May 2020 reached US $ 904.48 million, down by 10.09 percent compared to the same period in 2019. Of all imports in the January - May 2020 period, the role of oil and gas importation reached 58.24 percent while the role of non-oil goods imports reached 41.76 percent.
  • The trade balance of Kalimantan Timur Province in May 2020 was a surplus of US $ 0.89 billion, a decrease compared to the trade balance in April 2020 which was a surplus of US $ 1.02 billion. While cumulatively, the trade balance of Kalimantan Timur Province from January to May 2020 was a surplus of US $ 4.98 billion.
